According to the Daily Mirror, Tottenham have set their sights on AC Milan striker Santiago Giménez.
Giménez enjoyed three prolific seasons at Feyenoord before joining Milan in the summer of 2025. Arriving with high expectations, he was meant to solve Milan’s goal-scoring issues. But the Mexican international had a forgettable debut Serie A season, plagued by injuries. He made only 18 appearances across all competitions and scored just once—failing to find the net in the league at all.
Despite this, Spurs are not judging him on one poor campaign in Italy. Instead, they’re looking back at his impressive record at Feyenoord, where he scored 65 goals in 105 matches. Now 25, Giménez is approaching his prime, and if De Zerbi believes he suits his system, Tottenham should move quickly.
Initially, Giménez could serve as understudy to Solanke while adapting to the Premier League. Although he has no prior experience in English football, his current €18 million market value (via Transfermarkt) could make him a smart, cost-effective replacement for Richarlison.
