Czechia Boss Breaks Silence After England Defeat as Harry Kane Inspires England to Another Win

Czechia manager Santi Denia has reacted to his side’s latest defeat to England after the Three Lions produced another dominant performance in the UEFA Nations League.

England secured a convincing 3–0 victory at Wembley on Tuesday night, with Harry Kane once again at the centre of attention. The England captain marked his record-equalling 125th international appearance by scoring twice, while Vladimír Coufal’s own goal opened the scoring.

The result completed a difficult international break for Czechia, who have now suffered five consecutive defeats. Denia’s team had already lost to Croatia, England and Spain before returning to Wembley, leaving them bottom of their Nations League group without a point.

Despite the disappointing result, Denia has previously insisted that he remains encouraged by the progress of his players. The Spanish coach has stressed that Czechia are still developing and that difficult matches against some of Europe’s strongest teams can provide valuable experience.

England, meanwhile, continued their impressive run under Thomas Tuchel. The victory followed their 2–0 win over Czechia in Prague and a stunning 7–0 demolition of Croatia, giving the Three Lions three victories during the international break.

Kane was once again the standout performer. After equalling Peter Shilton’s England appearance record, the Bayern Munich striker took his international goal tally to 91. He also became the oldest England player to score braces in consecutive appearances.

The defeat leaves Czechia with plenty to reflect on, while England’s latest victory strengthens their position in the race for the Nations League quarter-finals.

For Denia, the challenge now is to turn the painful run of results into a learning experience and build a Czechia side capable of competing more strongly when the Nations League campaign resumes.
