Raskin was recently left out of Rangers’ squad as uncertainty over his future continued. McInnes impressed by two Rangers players
Away from the transfer speculation, McInnes also has plenty to be pleased about following Rangers’ narrow victory over Aberdeen.
The Ibrox side secured a 1-0 win, giving the manager another positive result to build on while he continues to reshape his squad.
The manager has been working to strengthen Rangers in several areas, particularly after the injury to striker Youssef Chermiti. The club has already completed a major move for Kevin Kelsy, with the Venezuelan striker arriving from Portland Timbers in a deal worth around £9.5 million, potentially rising further through performance-related additions.
Kelsy is expected to provide an important attacking option, while Rangers have also added Daisuke Yokota and are looking to strengthen further before the window closes.
McInnes’ positive assessment of his players will therefore be particularly important as Rangers attempt to find consistency.
For Raskin, however, the immediate picture remains uncertain. Rangers are not currently in possession of an official bid, and until that changes, his future remains firmly in the balance.
