Nottingham Forest transfer latest: New signing ‘one step away’ as midfield interest emerges

Nottingham Forest are entering the final stretch of a busy summer transfer window as Oliver Glasner continues to shape his squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Dodo closing in on Forest move

One of the biggest developments concerns Fiorentina right-back Dodo, who is reportedly edging closer to a move to the City Ground.

Reports suggest Forest could pay around €10 million (£8.5m) for the Brazilian defender, with journalist Nicolo Schira claiming that a long-term contract could be offered until 2030.

Dodo has only one year remaining on his Fiorentina contract and has been with the Italian club since moving from Shakhtar Donetsk four years ago.

Forest have also been linked with Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz.

Reports from Colombia claim Palace could be prepared to listen to offers for the 30-year-old, with a valuation of around €29m (£25m) reportedly attached to the player.
