According to Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph on X, Rangers are facing tough competition for Hjerto-Dahl this summer.
Newly promoted Championship side Cardiff City reportedly had a £5.5m bid turned down for the promising 20-year-old, with Tromsø holding out for at least £6.8m.
Yet Joseph suggests Rangers are in a strong position, as they remain in negotiations and the player favours a move to Ibrox over a switch to Wales.
