Kolo Muani Upgrade: ‘Unbelievable’ 30-Goal Striker Wants to Join Tottenham

This summer, Tottenham Hotspur could land a 30-goal striker at a 20% discount—and he would represent an upgrade on Randal Kolo Muani.

Whatever happens in the Premier League over the final five matches, Spurs look set for a busy transfer window. If they are relegated to the Championship, several key players will likely leave, forcing the club to find replacements.

If they survive, Roberto De Zerbi’s side still needs a major overhaul to avoid another season near the bottom. Either way, Tottenham must build a squad suited to De Zerbi’s style, making for a hectic summer.

Tottenham can bring back Troy Parrott on the cheap

According to reliable journalist Alasdair Gold, Spurs included a 20% sell-on clause when they sold young striker Troy Parrott to AZ Alkmaar. With Parrott’s current valuation at roughly £22m, that clause effectively gives Tottenham a further discount.

Notably, Parrott is said to be open to returning even if Spurs are relegated from the Premier League.

The 24-year-old, once described as “unbelievable,” is enjoying a remarkable season at Alkmaar, having already scored 30 goals across all competitions.

He currently ranks as the fifth-top scorer in Europe’s top 15 leagues and has yet to reach his peak.

Parrott would undoubtedly be one of the best strikers in the Championship, but there is every chance he could also find the net regularly in the Premier League.

An upgrade on Kolo Muani

While Parrott has yet to prove himself in a major league, it is difficult to imagine him making less of an impact than Kolo Muani has at Tottenham.

The French forward has struggled to justify expectations since his move to north London, and Spurs seem unlikely to make his loan deal permanent.

Signing Parrott for under £20m would be a smarter move, especially given his strong desire to prove himself at the club. The Republic of Ireland international may never have wanted to leave Tottenham in the first place, but felt he had to for the sake of his career. If he returns, he will certainly have a point to prove.
