A 4-star receiver stops in Eugene for an unofficial visit and camp in Oregon.
2026 4-star wide receiver Madden Williams has arrived in Eugene for a mid-week stop for Oregon’s football camp and a visit to Oregon. He informed DuckTerritory.com of his arrival on Wednesday.
“I’ll be in Eugene on Wednesday and Thursday,” he said.
Williams is a 6-foot-1 receiver out of St. John Bosco High School in Southern California and is rated as the No. 25 player in the state of California by the 247Sports Composite. Williams also ranks as the No. 37 receiver and the No. 245 player nationally, regardless of position.
Along with an offer from Oregon, Williams holds over 25 scholarship offers from programs at all Power 4 Conferences at this time. He’s viewed as one of the most outstanding players out west at the receiver position.
No receiver out West has impressed more on the camp and 7v7 circuit than Williams. Has really filled out his 6-2 frame and is a strong, powerful receiver and very good in jump and contested catch situations. A clever route runner who knows how to get open and can line up out wide or in the slot. Not a burner right now and needs to continue to improve his long speed but runs well enough and knows how to use his speed to set up a defensive back. Can get behind a defense because of his advanced route running and has very strong hands. Highly competitive receiver who wants the ball and has shown he has the raw talent to be a No. 1 WR at the Power 4 level.
As a sophomore in the fall of 2023, Williams caught 42 passes for 496 yards and five touchdowns.
