Jarrod Bowen Reportedly Makes One Request to West Ham Board After Charlton Athletic Defeat, Leaving Fans in Shock

Jarrod Bowen has reportedly made a direct request to the West Ham United board following the club’s disappointing 2-1 defeat to Charlton Athletic, with the captain understood to be demanding urgent action after another worrying defensive display.

West Ham suffered their first home defeat of the Championship season on Saturday, losing to Charlton at the London Stadium despite dominating possession and creating a host of opportunities. The result leaves Nuno Espírito Santo’s side still searching for their first league victory of the campaign.

Bowen, who captained the Hammers, has reportedly urged the club to address the defensive problems that have already become a major concern just two matches into the season.

Bowen Wants Defensive Problems Fixed

The biggest frustration for West Ham was that they appeared to control large periods of the game but were punished by costly mistakes.
