England produced another impressive display at Wembley as Thomas Tuchel’s side comfortably defeated Czechia 3-0 in the UEFA Nations League.
The victory completed a highly productive international period for the Three Lions, with England securing their third win from four Nations League matches. Harry Kane once again stole the spotlight, scoring twice on a historic night in which he equalled Peter Shilton’s record of 125 England appearances.
The result also strengthened England’s position in their group, while the performance of several players gave Tuchel plenty to be pleased about.
Harry Kane — 9/10
There was little doubt about England’s outstanding performer.
Kane delivered a captain’s performance, scoring twice and causing constant problems for the Czech defence. His first goal came in the 40th minute after Morgan Rogers produced an excellent delivery, while Kane completed his brace with a powerful header early in the second half.
His contribution went beyond his goals, with the England captain linking play effectively and providing a constant attacking outlet.
It was another reminder of why Kane remains one of England’s most important players.
Morgan Rogers — 8/10
Rogers was one of the other major positives for England.
The Aston Villa attacker looked dangerous throughout the game, using his pace and direct running to trouble the Czech defence. He also played a crucial role in Kane’s first goal, delivering the cross that allowed the England captain to finish.
His performance will only strengthen the argument that Rogers deserves a more regular role in Tuchel’s England side.
Lewis Hall — 8/10
Hall enjoyed an impressive evening on the left side.
The Newcastle defender showed plenty of attacking ambition while remaining disciplined defensively. His contribution became even more important when he provided the delivery for Kane’s second goal.
With competition for places increasing, Hall gave Tuchel another reason to consider him seriously for future matches.
Trent Alexander-Arnold — 7/10
Alexander-Arnold was another player who impressed.
His passing range helped England maintain control, particularly against a Czechia side that spent long periods defending deep. His deliveries from wide areas also created problems for the visitors.
Although he did not get on the scoresheet, his influence in possession was evident throughout the match.
Jude Bellingham — 7/10
Bellingham produced another energetic performance in midfield.
The Real Madrid star helped England move the ball forward and repeatedly attempted to break through the Czech midfield. His ability to carry possession and find pockets of space added another dimension to England’s attacking play.
He was eventually withdrawn as Tuchel managed his squad with the result already under control.
Eberechi Eze — 7/10
Eze provided creativity and movement in the attacking areas.
The Crystal Palace star frequently drifted into dangerous positions and helped England maintain pressure on the Czech
