BREAKING NEWS: Tottenham forward departs club on loan

Tottenham Hotspur forward Jamie Donley has completed a loan move to League One outfit Luton Town for the 2026/27 campaign.

The Spurs academy graduate will spend the upcoming season at Kenilworth Road as he continues his development and looks to gain valuable first-team experience.

Donley enjoyed loan spells with Stoke City and Oxford United last season, and his latest temporary move is expected to provide him with another opportunity to establish himself at senior level.

The 20-year-old admitted he was delighted to finally complete the transfer, with his conversations with Luton boss and former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere playing a major role in his decision.

“I’m over the moon. It’s taken a while, but I’m delighted to get it done and excited to see what I can do this season,” Donley said.

The Tottenham youngster revealed that Wilshere’s vision for the season and his belief in Donley’s abilities immediately caught his attention.

“When the manager called me, he spoke very highly of me, about what he wants to do this season and the way they play football. The way he spoke of me and how he sees me as a player really excited me.

“That’s all you want to hear as a player, and hopefully I can take on that advice and show him that what he believes in me, I can do.”

Donley will now aim to make the most of his time at Luton, with regular first-team football potentially providing another important step in his development at Tottenham.
