Spurs could now swap Richarlison for ‘the most skillful player in the Premier League’

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye, with a potential deal involving Richarlison moving in the opposite direction being considered, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

Spurs are still looking to add another attacking option before the summer transfer window closes after already bringing in Savio and Omar Marmoush from Manchester City.

Ndiaye has now emerged as one of Tottenham’s targets, with the Senegal international previously described as one of the most skillful players in the Premier League. However, he is not the only attacking option on the club’s radar, as Monaco striker Folarin Balogun also remains a target.

Tottenham are not alone in their interest in Ndiaye, with Manchester City also reportedly monitoring the Everton forward. City have even been linked with a possible swap deal that could see Jack Grealish move to Everton as part of an agreement.

For Tottenham, a move involving Richarlison could prove particularly interesting. The Brazilian has been linked with a return to Everton in recent transfer windows, and a deal that sends him back to Merseyside while bringing Ndiaye to North London could potentially suit both clubs.

Ndiaye would offer Tottenham another dynamic attacking option, with his pace, technical ability and versatility capable of adding a different dimension to Roberto De Zerbi’s forward line.

However, De Zerbi may ultimately decide that his priority is signing a traditional No. 9 rather than another versatile attacker.

Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo is reportedly one of the players wanted by the Tottenham boss, while Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is also believed to be on his radar.

Tottenham could face a difficult negotiation for Osimhen, though, with Galatasaray reportedly placing a £129 million valuation on the Nigerian striker.

With the transfer deadline approaching next Tuesday, Spurs have only a few days remaining to complete their outstanding business.

The club have already strengthened across several areas of the squad this summer, but De Zerbi will now be hoping Tottenham can secure one final attacking addition before the window closes.
