Tottenham Hotspur could be preparing to send another promising academy player out on loan after the youngster caught the eye during the club’s pre-season campaign.

With the summer transfer window entering its final week, Spurs are increasingly focused on finding valuable loan opportunities for several of their academy graduates.

Earlier this week, Oliver Irow completed a season-long switch to Plymouth Argyle, and the 20-year-old wasted little time making an impression. He opened his account for the League One side during their EFL meeting with Coventry City on Tuesday.

Highly-rated Tottenham striker Mason Melia has also secured a temporary move to Championship newcomers Lincoln City, and another Spurs youngster could now be heading to the second tier.

Jamie Donley Attracting Loan Interest

Tottenham academy expert John Wenham has revealed that Jamie Donley could be the next young player to leave Hotspur Way temporarily.

The 21-year-old midfielder has gained valuable experience with previous loan spells at Leyton Orient, Stoke City and Oxford United over the past couple of seasons.

Donley is now reportedly preparing for another move away from Tottenham, with discussions understood to be taking place with several Championship clubs and other EFL teams regarding a potential loan deal.

The midfielder played an important role during Spurs’ pre-season preparations, making five appearances over the summer.

A move away from North London could provide Donley with another opportunity to gain regular first-team football, while Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi and his coaching staff will be keen to monitor his progress throughout the campaign.

Bundesliga Club Pushing for Mikey Moore

Meanwhile, another highly-rated Tottenham academy product could be on the verge of securing a move to one of Europe’s top five leagues.

Mikey Moore is reportedly attracting serious interest from Bundesliga side FC Köln, following his impressive spell in Scotland last summer.

Reports suggest the recent arrival of Savinho at Tottenham has helped accelerate Köln’s pursuit of Moore, with the German club understood to have already reached an agreement with Spurs in principle for a season-long loan.

Köln are reportedly working quickly to complete the deal before the transfer window closes.

The proposed move would see Moore spend the season in Germany without a permanent purchase option, giving the young Tottenham winger an opportunity to continue his development while gaining experience in the Bundesliga.
