adminTottenham midfielder Pape Matar Sarr has wiped all Tottenham-related content from his Instagram account after being informed he is no longer in the club’s plans.
According to Sky Switzerland’s Sacha Tavolieri, Spurs have told the Senegal international that he is available for transfer this summer.
The decision has clearly frustrated the 23-year-old, whose Instagram feed is now completely empty, with no trace of anything connected to the north London side.
Sarr has slipped down the pecking order under manager Roberto De Zerbi, following the summer arrivals of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali. Last season, he made 13 Premier League starts and came off the bench on 13 occasions, but with Spurs missing out on European qualification, his game time is set to diminish even further.
Galatasaray have emerged as a potential destination, with talks already underway. The Turkish club have tabled an €18 million offer, but Tottenham are holding out for at least €25 million.
Despite the gap in valuation, Galatasaray remain optimistic about reaching a personal agreement with Sarr soon.
He looks set to become the latest departure from Spurs this summer, following Manor Solomon, Yves Bissouma, Guglielmo Vicario, Djed Spence, Cristian Romero, Radu Dragusin, and Luka Vuskovic out the exit door.
