Coventry City Officially Announce Loan Departure

Coventry City have confirmed that midfielder Isaac Moore will spend the 2026/27 season on loan at Walsall.

The 20-year-old, who has been with the Sky Blues, will gain valuable EFL experience at the Bescot Stadium after the deal was finalised.

Moore expressed his eagerness to get started, stating: “It feels great to have it sorted. There’s been interest for a few weeks now, and as soon as I knew Walsall wanted me, I was keen to make it happen quickly. The atmosphere around the club is fantastic, and I truly believe it’s the right place for me.

“Winning matches is the main goal, but the manager has also stressed the importance of my development as a player. I’m confident I can achieve both here. I’m excited for my first taste of League football, keen to learn from the coaching staff, and can’t wait to play in front of the supporters.”

Walsall head coach Lee Grant also welcomed the arrival, saying: “I’m delighted to bring Isaac on board. We’ve tracked his progress for a while, and he’s a highly driven individual who is determined to prove himself.

“Despite his age, he already has solid experience from spells at Forest Green Rovers and Solihull Moors, and he’s hungry to keep improving and give everything on the pitch.

“We’re grateful to Frank Lampard and everyone at Coventry for trusting us with one of their promising youngsters. We’re looking forward to playing our part in his growth and seeing him make a positive impact for us.”
