Two-time NBL champion Jaylin Galloway could be in line for a return to the Sydney Kings, after reportedly being waived by the Milwaukee Bucks.
Galloway signed a two-way deal with the NBA team in March and played seven games with its G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd.
At the same time, he signed a contract extension with the Kings – until the end of NBL27 – allowing the club to retain his NBL rights for the next three seasons.
“He will always have a home here in Sydney,” Kings CEO Chris Pongrass said at the time.
HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reported the news, saying Milwaukee was waiving Galloway in order to sign another player.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a career-best season in the NBL before his departure to the NBA, averaging 10.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals a game across 22 appearances.
The Kings have one available roster spot remaining.
