Notre Dame Extends Scholarship Offer to Emerging Georgia Wide Receiver
Notre Dame has officially joined the competition for 2026 wide receiver Bubba Frazier, one of Georgia’s most promising prospects. The Fighting Irish are among more than 20 college football programs that have extended scholarship offers to the rising star.
Frazier, who stands at 5-foot-10 and weighs 165 pounds, plays for Benedictine Military School in Georgia. He has been gaining national attention following an impressive junior season in which he accumulated 604 rushing yards, 753 receiving yards, and scored 13 total touchdowns. His versatility as both a runner and receiver has made him a sought-after recruit in the 2026 cycle.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Frazier is currently the 61st-ranked wide receiver in the nation for his class. He is also recognized as the 46th-best overall player in Georgia, further solidifying his status as a top prospect.
Notre Dame faces stiff competition in the recruitment of Frazier, as programs such as Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, UCF, West Virginia, and Wisconsin have also offered him a spot on their teams. With interest continuing to grow, his recruitment process is expected to be highly competitive.
The Fighting Irish have made a concerted effort to recruit talent from Georgia in recent years. As of the 2025 season, Notre Dame’s roster will include four players from the state, demonstrating the program’s commitment to securing talent from the region.
Currently, Notre Dame has just one wide receiver committed in the 2026 recruiting class. By targeting Frazier, the team is looking to strengthen its depth at the position and add another dynamic playmaker to its future lineup.
Frazier’s speed, agility, and ability to contribute in multiple roles make him an attractive option for the Fighting Irish coaching staff. As his recruitment continues, Notre Dame will look to make a strong impression to secure his commitment over other competing programs.
