Ranked as one of the top prospects for the state of Mississippi for the 2025 class, Lockhart has offers from a virtual who’s who in college football. The 247Sports four-star standout is one of the top linebackers in the southeast if not the country.
Throughout the process, Mississippi State has been right there. Most expected him to commit and follow his brother T.J. Lockhart to Starkville, but a push by Auburn nixed those plans. Despite his commitment to Auburn, Lockhart took an official visit to Mississippi State over the weekend.
