At halftime of the men’s basketball game on Saturday, South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer will be joined on the court by many of the 2025 signing class and portal transfers, who are already on campus and enrolled for the spring semester.
Beamer will also spend time chatting with members of the media at Colonial Life Arena.
Several of the newest Gamecock football players are freshmen. The entire class, which is ranked No. 21 in the country by 247Sports, is listed on GamecocksOnline under the 2025 football roster. No numbers are provided, but the freshmen are listed with their height/weight, along with their bios.
Nineteen of the 2025 high school signees are listed as enrolled on the 247Sports 2025 recruiting class page.

Edge rusher from Sumter (S.C.) High School… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… coached by Mark Barnes… led Sumter to a 12-0 record and a run at the State 5A title as a senior… the Gamecocks finished 2024 with a perfect 6-0 mark in Region 5… has accumulated 99 tackles in his senior campaign, including 21.5 tackles for loss and leads the team in sacks with 9.0 and quarterback hurries with 14… has also caused four fumbles and recovered four fumbles… collected 96 tackles including 25 tackles for loss and six sacks as a junior, leading the Gamecocks to an 11-2 season and a spot in the quarterfinals of South Carolina’s AAAAA playoffs in 2023… also got some snaps on the offensive side of the ball.
OL Damola Ajidahun (6-6, 300)
Four-year letterwinner at Duluth (Ga.) High School, anchoring the offensive line… coached by Cam Jones… the Wildcats went 7-4 and reached the 6A state playoffs… born in England and moved to the United States in the fifth grade… began playing football as a freshman in high school.
LB Taeshawn Alston (6-3, 230)
Linebacker prospect from Vance County in Henderson, N.C… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… coached by Aaron Elliott… led the Vipers to an 8-3 mark and a spot in the 3A state playoffs as a senior in 2024… the Vipers finished second in the 2A/3A Northern Lakes Conference… racked up 38 tackles with 12.0 tackles for loss as a senior… also finished the season with 2.5 sacks and one fumble recovery… helped his team to a 10-1 record as a junior in 2023… versatile athlete who also played basketball, baseball and ran track in high school.
WR Malik Clark (6-2, 185)
Wide receiver from Rock Hill (S.C.) High School… named one of five finalists for South Carolina’s Mr. Football Award… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… coached by Randy Birch… caught 46 passes for 800 yards and nine TD as a junior in 2023 while helping the Bearcats to the state playoffs… also got some snaps at cornerback on defense… was an All-Herald second-team selection… also ran track… as a junior, placed third at the South Carolina 5A state meet in the 100-meter dash with a 10.62 effort after winning the 5A Upper State title with a 10.55 clocking… placed fifth as a sophomore in the South Carolina 5A 100-meter finals with a 10.90 and seventh in the 200-meter championship with a 22.00.
WR Lex Cyrus (5-10, 175)
Speedy wide receiver from Susquehanna Township High School in Harrisburg, Pa… guided the Indians to an 8-3 record as a senior in 2024… recorded 59 receptions for 898 yards and nine touchdowns during his senior season… had 130 career catches in high school with 2,054 yards and 22 scores… finished his junior season in 2023 with 67 catches for 1,115 yards and 13 TDs… also had a score in the return game… coached by Joe Headen… a decorated track & field athlete… took gold as a sophomore and bronze as a junior in the 100-meter dash at the PIAA 3A state championship… top marks include a 10.41 100, a 21.64 200-meters and 6-2 in the high jump.
S Kendall Daniels (6-4, 205)
Played safety at Maury High School in Norfolk, Va… coached by John Leigh Jr… the Commodores won their first 14 games, reaching the state semifinals… as a junior in 2023, helped Maury to a 15-0 record and the Virginia Class 5 state championship after the outscoring its opponents 864-152.
LB Donovan Darden (6-4, 225)
Two-way player at Havelock (N.C.) High School… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… played both defensive end and quarterback for the Rams, one of the top teams in the state… coached by Brent Wooten… totaled 46 tackles with nine tackles for loss, 10 hurries, six PBU, two interceptions and a sack as a junior in 2023… added 283 yards of total offense (143 rushing, 140 passing) and 3 TD (2 rushing, 1 passing)… also competed in track & field… owns a 21-10.75 effort in the long jump to go along with a 45-8 effort in the shot put, a 16.04 in the 110-meter hurdles and a 43.20 in the 300-meter hurdles.
DE Jaquavious Dodd (6-6, 240)
Edge rusher who attends Eastside High School in Taylors, S.C… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… played for the Eagles and head coach Andre Woolcock… finished his senior season with 92 total tackles, including 61 solo tackles… recorded 24.0 tackles for loss in each of the last two years of his high school career… posted 11.0 sacks as senior with 20 quarterback hurries… finished his junior season in 2023 with 48 tackles, 24 TFLs, and 12 sacks.
LS Kyler Farrow (6-3, 200)
Edge rusher who attends Eastside High School in Taylors, S.C… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… played for the Eagles and head coach Andre Woolcock… finished his senior season with 92 total tackles, including 61 solo tackles… recorded 24.0 tackles for loss in each of the last two years of his high school career… posted 11.0 sacks as senior with 20 quarterback hurries… finished his junior season in 2023 with 48 tackles, 24 TFLs, and 12 sacks.
WR Jordon Gidron (6-2, 185)
Wide receiver who prepped at Columbia’s Ridge View High School… reclassified to the class of 2025… invited to play in the Under Armour All-American game… coached by Derek Howard… suffered a knee injury in 2024 which required surgery… prior to injury, caught 17 passes for 121 yards while adding four carries for 27 yards and a TD in three games… also scored on a kickoff return… caught 45 passes for 731 yards and 10 TD in 2023… also competed in track & field… was the South Carolina 4A state champion in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes in 2024… helped the Blazers capture a state title as a team, running legs for both the gold-medal winning 4×100 relay and the 4×200 squad, which took second… named The State’s co-Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year for his efforts… top marks were 10.68 in the 100m and 21.56 in the 200.
DB Christopher Hatfield (6-3, 195)
Defensive back from Long County High School in Ludowici, Ga… two-way player who got snaps at both cornerback and wide receiver… coached by Michael Pfiester… led the Blue Tide to a 7-4 record as a senior… recorded 49 tackles with 40 solo tackles and 4.0 tackles for loss in 2024… finished with eight of his 10 career interceptions during his senior year alone… as a junior in 2023, totaled 27 tackles and three picks on defense while catching nine passes for 195 yards and 5 TD on offense, earning All Region 3-AAA honors… also played basketball.
LB AJ Holloway (6-2, 235)
Linebacker at Buford (Ga.) High School where he played for head coach Bryant Appling… led the Wolves to a 12-1 record and a spot in the 6A Georgia State playoff semifinals in 2024… led the team in total tackles with 71 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks and nine quarterback hurries… has also caused one fumble and recovered one fumble during his senior season.
ATH Jaquel Holman (6-1, 205)
Attended Blackville (S.C.)-Hilda High School… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… coached by Kevin Jones… named the South Carolina Region 4-A Player of the Year and an All-State selection in 2023 when he got snaps at both running back and linebacker… carried the ball 153 times for 1,610 yards (10.5 ypc) and 26 TD for the Fighting Hawks… added 76 tackles with nine tackles for loss, five quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles, a sack and an INT on defense… multi-sport athlete that also ran track and played basketball… was a state champion in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes as a junior… best times were 10.82 in the 100 and 21.98 in the 200… averaged 10.9 points and 4.8 rebounds on the hardwood as a junior.
DL Christian Ingram (6-6, 285)
Defensive line prospect from Conyers, Ga…. played his high school ball at Newton High School… coached by Camiel Grant… led the Rams to a 7-5 record as a senior, including a 5-1 record in 6A Region 4 for the runner-up finish in the conference… was credited with 38 tackles, 15.0 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks during his final season with the Rams.
WR Donovan Murph (6-2, 190)
Wide receiver prospect from nearby Irmo (S.C.) High School… reclassified from the class of 2026 to 2025… invited to play in the Under Armour All-American game… caught 57 passes for 1,084 yards (17.0 ypc) and 17 TD in 2023… helped the Yellowjackets go 13-0 and make South Carolina’s 4A semifinals for the first time in school history… multi-sport athlete that also plays basketball and participates in track & field… coached by Aaron Brand Sr… is the cousin of Gamecock standout wide receiver Alshon Jeffery.
WR Brian Rowe (5-11, 170)
Wide receiver from Jay M. Robinson High School in Concord, N.C… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… coached by Jason Seidel… caught 50 passes for 1,063 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior… also had a trio of punt return scores… added a pair of PBU on defense… helped the Bulldogs reach the third round of North Carolina’s 3A playoffs in 2023… a multi-sport athlete that also plays basketball and does track & field events… averaged 13.2 ppg on the hardwood as a junior.
DE Kobby Sakyi-Prah (6-6, 230)
Edge rusher from Roswell (Ga.) High School… as a sophomore in 2022, worked mostly as an interior pass rusher for a Hornets squad that made the semifinals of Georgia’s AAAAAAA playoffs… coached by Chris Prewett… totaled 89 tackles including 11 tackles for loss, nine sacks and six hurries… also credited with 2 breakups, 2 forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
OL Shedrick Sarratt Jr. (6-4, 310)
Offensive lineman from Gaffney (S.C.) High School… named one of five finalists for South Carolina’s Mr. Football Award… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… coached by Dan Jones… the anchor of the Indians’ offensive line and has been a three-year starter… averaged three knockdown and five pancake blocks a game and graded out at 88 percent over last three years… averaged 6.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game during his junior season on the hardwood.
WR Jayden Sellers (6-0, 170)
Nickname is “Puppy”… attended South Florence High School in Florence, S.C… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… coached by Drew Marlowe… was a key playmaker for a South Florence squad that captured a South Carolina AAAA state title in 2022… caught 39 passes for 827 yards and 12 TD while serving as a go-to target for his older brother and current Gamecock quarterback LaNorris Sellers… also wrestled in high school.
LB Josh Smith (6-1, 225)
Local product from Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, S.C… played for the state’s top-ranked team…. selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… coached by Tom Knotts… helped the Silver Foxes capture the 2023 South Carolina 5A title, earning some all-state honorable mention recognition in the process… had 63 tackles, 20 for loss, seven sacks and 15 quarterback hurries… also competed in track & field, logging a shot put of 42-1.
TE Mike Tyler (6-4, 220)
Local product who prepped at Hammond School in Columbia… helped the SkyHawks to the 2024 SCISA state championship, their fourth in as many years… caught the game-winning TD pass in the championship game… finished his junior season in 2023 with 33 catches for 543 yards and seven touchdowns… also plays basketball.
DL Caleb Williams (6-6, 275)
Defensive line prospect from Matoaca High School in Chesterfield, Va. where he played four years of varsity football for the Warriors… coached by Fred Stoots… assembled a breakout sophomore season with 50 tackles, 12 TFL, 8.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries in 11 contests in 2022… got varsity experience as a freshman in 2021, producing 20 tackles, 5.0 sacks, and one forced fumble in 11 games.
QB Cutter Woods (6-3, 205)
