Even though Stephen Curry, a guard for the Golden State Warriors, is now representing the United States in the Olympics in Paris, it seems like he is thinking about his future in the NBA. Curry took part in a comprehensive discussion on the Warriors’ bold new universe with Marc J. Spears of Andscape on Wednesday. The events of July 6, when veteran guard Klay Thompson signed a sign-and-trade deal to join the Dallas Mavericks, have left the franchise in shock.
“I’ve always declared that my goal in life is to be a warrior. At this point in my profession, I think it’s feasible. Additionally, being competitive does not guarantee winning the championship, Curry added. “It does not imply success. Although you are plainly practical, winning is always the top priority.” Golden State finished in the Western Conference semifinals in 2023 and missed the playoffs entirely in 2024, following their fourth championship in eight years in 2022.
“When it comes to simply using my imagination, I’ll keep making the choices that are best for me and my profession in the end. Win, please, Curry declared. To put it another way, let me simply say that I would find it difficult to put up with someone who is a bottom feeder only because they want to continue in that scenario. However, I don’t believe that will actually happen.
