A handful of former South Carolina players took the field with their respective teams the last few days as the NFL playoffs got underway with the Wild Card Weekend starting on Saturday.
In total, five former players were on rosters for the Wild Card Weekend in cornerback Stephon Gilmore (Minnesota Vikings), tight end Hayden Hurst (Los Angeles Chargers), cornerback Keisean Nixon (Green Bay Packers), defensive end Kingsley Enagbare (Green Bay Packers) and tight end Nate Adkins (Denver Broncos). However, Hurst was listed as inactive in the Los Angeles Chargers’ loss to the Houston Texans.
In addition to the players on the active roster, there were three Gamecocks who were on the practice squad of teams in the playoffs in offensive lineman Nick Gargiulo (Broncos), tight end Nick Muse (Vikings) and cornerback Darius Rush (Chiefs).
