Another player from Alabama’s tight end unit will be sidelined for the remainder of the spring season due to injury.
Marshall Pritchett, a true freshman from Rabun Gap, Georgia, has been ruled out for the rest of the spring, according to Bama247. However, he is expected to make a full recovery in time for preseason camp.
A video shared by Yea Alabama on Tuesday showed Pritchett wearing a large brace on his left leg, indicating his current condition.
During the Under Armour All-America game in January, Pritchett sustained an injury and had to exit the game early. Later, he shared a photo from a hospital bed alongside a doctor. Reports confirmed that he had suffered a broken clavicle.
Pritchett was ranked as the No. 284 overall prospect and the No. 15 tight end in the 2025 recruiting class.
Alabama will also be without Kaleb Edwards, another tight end from the 2025 recruiting class, until summer. Additionally, Danny Lewis has been ruled out for spring by the Crimson Tide coaching staff.
To compensate for these absences, Alabama will rely on returning tight ends Josh Cuevas and Jay Lindsey, as well as Weber State transfer Peter Knudson, who has joined the team.
The Crimson Tide is set to host its annual A-Day spring game at noon on April 12 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
