Charley Hull recently alerted her fans about her social media presence, clarifying that she only maintains official accounts on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). Hull emphasized that she is not active on any other social media platforms, urging her followers to be cautious of any other accounts claiming to represent her.
Hull’s statement came shortly after her participation in the Kroger Queen City Championship, where she performed well but did not claim victory. She finished the event tied for 19th place, posting a 10-under score across four rounds of play. However, she was still 13 strokes behind the tournament winner, Lydia Ko.
On Monday, September 23, Hull used her Instagram platform to address her fans directly, providing this important update about her social media accounts and setting the record straight.
Will Charley Hull compete at the NW Arkansas Championship?
Charley Hull is not competing at the NW Arkansas Championship, which will take place from Friday, September 27, to Sunday, September 29, at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas.
Besides Hull, the likes of Lydia Ko and Nelly Korda are also skipping this week’s LPGA Tour stop. However, the field will feature Maja Stark, Megan Khang, Yuka Saso, Lexi Thompson, Lilia Vu, and defending champion Hae Ran Ryu, competing for a $3 million purse.
As for Hull, she played 13 events this season and missed the cut only once. Her solo fifth-place finish at the ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open was her best result this year.
