COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five-star edge rusher Zion Elee has been committed to Maryland since December, but the 2026 prospect is planning to take six official visits in the near future.
The list features Ohio State, Penn State, Auburn, Texas A&M, South Carolina and Maryland.
Elee announced, via social media, he received an offer from the Buckeyes on May 8. He made a summer camp appearance a month later in which he was selected as the most valuable player and was reoffered.
In August, he included Ohio State among his top five schools.
Elee is the top-rated edge rusher and the No. 4 overall prospect in his class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s a native of Baltimore who attends St. Frances Academy.

Beating Maryland adds a fifth Quadrant 1 victory to Ohio State’s résumé.
