UCI Rankings Rider Update | Tadej Pogacar, Remco Evenepoel and Jonas Vingegaard remain at the top
The UCI Rankings update of this week mostly follows the results of the Renewi Tour, however there have not been any meaningful changes. Tadej Pogacar and the podium of the Tour de France remain in the first three spots of the standings.
You can check the previous update. Tadej Pogacar remains in first place ahead of Remco Evenepoel and Jonas Vingegaard. Jasper Philipsen won a few points at the Renewi Tour to extend the lead over teammate Mathieu van der Poel who is fifth. Marc Hirschi, Mads Pedersen, Primoz Roglic, Wout van Aert and Arnaud De Lie continue to fill the Top10 in the same positions.
The Belgian race was the main point changer this week. Tim Wellens however defended his title in the race and so did not actually gain more points. Alec Segaert and Per Strand Hagenes finished on the podium but did not climb into the Top100 with these points. Fourth placed rider Christophe Laporte moved from 51st to 39th and was the most meaningful change actually. Next week, the points of the Vuelta a España should meaningfully change the standings.
