ESPN and 247 Sports have the South Carolina Gamecocks playing in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa on December 31, 2024. ESPN has the Gamecocks up against the Iowa Hawkeyes in the bowl game.
On the other hand, CBS Sports has the Gamecocks up against the Kansas State Wildcats in the Texas Bowl, which will take place on December 31, 2024.
However, Athlon Sport sees a much different outcome. It has the Gamecocks facing off against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Music City Bowl on December 30, 2024.
What bowl game will South Carolina play in?
The South Carolina Gamecocks can play in any of the Gator Bowl, Liberty Bowl, Las Vegas Bowl, ReliaQuest Bowl, Music City Bowl, or Texas Bowl, which have automatic tie-ins with the SEC. The only bowl game they certainly can’t feature in is the Citrus Bowl, which is reserved for the best team in the SEC after the College Football Playoff bracket is announced.
