On Monday, a two-car crash in Hartford left two people dead and injured three others at the intersection of Main and Florence streets, according to police. Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert reported that the collision happened around 10:10 a.m. and involved a Toyota Corolla and a Mercedes. While three people suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, two occupants of the Corolla were severely affected.
The driver, a man, and a woman who was the passenger in the Toyota were taken to nearby hospitals following the crash. Tragically, both were later pronounced dead.
In a statement issued Monday night, Lt. Boisvert identified the deceased as Angel Santiago, aged 61, and Dulce Reyes, aged 27, both residents of Hartford.
